AP Capital: 7,300 Acres acquired through Land Pooling

Municipal Minister P Narayana declared 30,000 acres required of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh will be acquired by February end.

Reportedly, AP Government already acquired 7,300 acres of land in the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) through the Land Pooling Process. Farmers of these lands have given their consent letters to the Government.

State Government is targeting to acquire 10,000 acres by January end, 17,000 to 18,000 acres by February first week and 30,000 acres by the end of February.

Out of the 30,000 acres acquired through Land Pooling Process, About 45 percent will be used for AP Capital, 20 percent will be catered to Singapore-Japan, 20 percent will be returned to the farmers after development and 15 percent will remain with Government.
