AP Capital: Farmers to get just 25% in return!

Andhra Pradesh Government is going to acquire 30,000 acres of land from private parties for the construction of Capital in Vijayawada.

As per info, Government will be 50% of land for development of AP Capital. In the remaining 50% land, 60% will be with Government and remaining 40% would be allotted to farmers. On a whole, Land Owners will receive 25% of the developed land in return.

AP Government will also pay Rs 25,000 per acre every year to the farmers until they the entire process gets completed. Chandrababu Naidu has set 45 days deadline for completing the Land Pooling process. Chandigarh Model has been following in the construction of AP Capital.
