The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan has hoisted the national flag at his official residence in Tadepalli to mark the Andhra Pradesh formation day celebrations today.
Due to the pandemic crisis, the celebrations were a low-key affair and this only few officials like the Chief Secretary Neelam Sawney and DGP Goitham Sawang were present at the do.
Part of the speech Chief Minister YS Jagan, first paid rich tributes to the sacrifice of Potti Sriramulu for the sake of new state and went on to opine that the state is thriving hard to find its past glory. He said that the state was betrayed by all and what hurts is that the sons of the soil are at it stabbing the mother land for their selfish agenda.
Jagan affirmed that there are almost 32 Lakhs of poor families that are to be taken care of in the new state and the government is fighting it hard meeting all the ends from the past 17 months and is slowly progressing through the targeted welfare schemes the CM ended.
He appreciated the government functioning and being transparent with zero corruption and has maintained a steady rank of 3rd place in the ease of doing business among all the states in India!
