This Is Jagan's Trust In This Officer

Update: 2020-01-05 07:17 GMT
AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is known for his strong decisions, has struck again. After a strong-willed sand policy that eliminated corruption, here is another decision that is likely to strike terror in the hearts of the corrupt officials.

In a key action, YS Jagan has transferred director general of the Anti-Corruption Bureau Kumar Vishwajit and brought in PSR Anjaneyulu, who is known to be tough on the corrupt mandarins.

YS Jagan, who reviewed the working of the ACB a couple of days ago, expressed his unhappiness at the tardy pace of works and the lackadaisical approach. He criticised the functioning of the organisation and particularly questioned the DG. He immediately transferred Kumar Vishwaji and replaced him with Anjaneyulu.

PSR Anjaneyulu, who was till recently the transport commissioner, has proved his mettle by leashing in the private travels. He recovered fines from the private travel operators, including the son of former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad. He also took on the likes of JC Diwakar Reddy. It is his encounters with foul-mouthed JC that impressed YS Jagan the most. He feels PSR Anjaneyulu would be effective in curing corruption in various government departments.  Interestingly, he would officiate both as the director general of the ACB as well as the commissioner of transport commissioner. In addition to these, he would also function as the secretary of the APPSC. This shows the confidence that YS jagan enjoys in this officer. YS Jagan feels that PSR Anjaneyulu would help fulfil his dream of a corruption-free AP.
