AP Government frames new Guidelines for Aarogyasri Scheme

AP CM, YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy who promised to deliver transparent and corruption-free governance in the state is implementing new schemes in the state.

In the process, Jagan has taken another historic decision. Every treatment which is above Rs 1,000 will be brought under the Aarogyasri scheme. Rules and regulations which enable this scheme will be revealed soon.

According to the new decision taken by the State government, people who have an annual income of Rs 5 lakhs, will also be included under this scheme.

According to the new decision, people who own less than 12 acres of wetland and less than 35 acres of dry land will be eligible for this scheme. The families, which pay the municipal property tax less than 3,000 square feet will also be eligible for this scheme. The scheme will also apply to families owning a single car. If the family has more than one car the family will be ineligible for this scheme.

The YSR Aarogyasri scheme will be implemented throughout the state from 21 of December. As a pilot project, the scheme will be started first from the West Godavari district. The government has called tenders to provide 104 and 108 vehicles for every Mandal in the state.
