Self proclaimed film critic Kathi Mahesh continues to hit the headlines even after breathing his last. Raising doubts on his death, a Dalit leader has batted for an inquiry into his death and the Andhra Pradesh government have its nod for the demand.
Going into details, Dalit leader Manda Krishna Madiga, who attended the funeral of Kathi Mahesh at his native village spoke to the media and expressed his doubts over his death and urged the AP Government to initiate an inquiry.
Manda Krishna alleged a conspiracy behind Kathi Mahesh's death and placed a request before the government to call for an inquiry.He also demanded that the treatment details should also be released by the hospital authorities.
Citing that Kathi Mahesh sustained severe injuries, while there were no injuries on Kathi Mahesh's driver, Manda Krishna Madiga expressed his doubts.
The Dalit leader said that due to the comments Kathi Mahesh made on a lot of issues, he made a lot of enemies.
"Minutes before announcing the news of Kathi Mahesh's death, doctors said his condition is critical. Five minutes later, the news of Kathi Mahesh passing away was released to the media. This has raised several questions. The government should call for an inquiry into this by a sitting High Court Judge," Manda Krishna Madiga said.
Kathi Mahesh's father had also supported Manda Krishna Madiga regarding the inquiry and he too requested an inquiry.
Kathi Mahesh's father Obulesu raised a doubt over the doctors releasing the news of Kathi Mahesh passing away to the media directly without informing the family members.
It is said that the government has issued directives for the inquiry and the Police have swung into action.Kathi Mahesh's driver was called for the inquiry. During the inquiry, the driver reportedly told the cops that not wearing seatbelt was the primary reason behind Kathi Mahesh sustaining injuries.
Kathi Mahesh met with an accident earlier in June and was admitted to Apollo for treatment. It is said that doctors did an eye surgery on him. The AP Government allotted Rs 17 lakhs to Chennai Apollo towards his treatment.
