AP Government's Resolutions On RTC Services

Update: 2020-05-09 06:18 GMT
The lockdown imposed in the wake of the spread of the novel coronavirus has resulted in many sectors go through severe losses as everything was forced to shut with this. Public transport also faced huge losses with the transport system closely entirely.

It has been widely reported that the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation(APSRTC) is gearing up to take some key decisions with reports emerging that after the third phase of lockdown ends, relaxations might be given to the transport system.

If the media reports are to be believed the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led AP government has decided to go completely online for the ticketing system so that the virus is not spread further.

The passengers have to either book their tickets online or take tickets at the booking centers at the bus stands and the conductors will be given some rest for some time reportedly.

When it comes to Reservations for the Non-AC buses there should be only 5 stops for 150 km of destination that too with online tickets. If the destination is under 150 km passengers should buy tickets at the RTC ticket centers.
