Marking the first day of the Budget sessions of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan addressed the house through video conference and made some key comments on the Three Capitals.
Talking about the bill, the Governor said that the state government is very strong on decentralizing the governance and equal developments in the state rather than focusing the development at a single region.
Governor reiterated the government's opinion on three capitals, one each for Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary. He said that Vishakapatnam will be the Executive capital for the state.
"Decentralisation of administration has been the key principle based on which the legislation is in process to have three capitals concept," Bishwabhushan Harichandan added.
In the house, the government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy got two bills approved. The Repeal of AP Capital Regional Development Authority (APCRDA) and decentralization of administration were the two bills approved by the house.
