Ap Govt Announces Adityanath Das's Successor As Chief Secretary

As the tenure of the serving Chief Secretary(CS) of Andhra Pradesh Adityanath Das IAS on the 30th of this month, the state government had announced the successor of Mr. Das who will assume the office on the 1st of October.

The Andhra Pradesh government had issued a Government Order(G.O) appointing the 1985 IAS batch member Sameer Sharma as the new Chief Secretary for the state. He will take up the new position from October 1st.

Sameer Sharma had earlier held the posts like the Chief Managing Director at Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society(APCO) and India Tourism Development Corporation(ITDC) before the bifurcation of the state.

At present, Sameer Sharma is rendering his services in the position of AP State's Planning Commission. He also holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Institute of Leadership Governance.
