Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy termed the toxic gas leakage incident in Visakahaptanm as painful and announced an ex Gracia of Rs 1 crore for the families of the deceased.
On the other hand Rs, 10 lakhs announced for those who were on the ventilators, and Rs 1 lakh announced for those who were been given treatment. The required measures were been taken by the concerned authorities.
CM Jagan said that a special committee was set-up on the gas leakage and actions will be taken on the company once the committee constituted on this submit its report.
As a result of the toxic gas leakage from the LG Polymers Chemical plant in the RR Venkatapuram village in Visakhapatnam, eight people including two children died and around 200 people were admitted to the hospital.
