AP Govt Issues Rules For Those Who Marry After May 3

Following the increase of the positive cases of COVID-19 a nationwide lockdown was imposed in India which has now entered the second phase and with this everything was shut down in the country.

With this, those who get married will be facing more problems. The existing lockdown in India is expected to get lifted on the 3rd of May as there is no update on the extension of the lockdown giving some hopes for the couples.

In the wake of this, the Andhra Pradesh government has issued some rules keeping in mind the rise of the positive cases of COVID-19 in the state and said that those who will get married after the 3rd of May should seek the official permission.

As per the new instructions issued by the state government, only 10 members will be permitted to attend the wedding ceremony. The Revenue Department will forward the details of the attendees of the wedding to the local police station.

Strict actions will be taken if the social distancing norms are violated at the wedding and medical masks and sanitizers should be made available. DRO Venkat Rao said that as Vizianagaram is in the green zone, the public of the district was denied permission if they marry other districts people.
