Andhra Pradesh Government recommended names of 22 Achievers for Padma Awards this year. Usually, Achievers will file an application to State Government seeking Padma Awards. But, The procedure is being changed from this year. Anyone who seeks a Padma Award can apply for it, Officials will shortlist the eligible candidates under the supervision of Chief Secretary and the final list will be sent to Union Government with the approval of Chief Minister.
