Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who took many ground-breaking decisions after making it to the CM seat took yet another great decision.
CM Jagan chaired a review meeting with Chief Secretary Neelam Sahni, Director General of Police(DGP) Gautam Sawang, ACB DGP SR Anjaneyulu, and other key officials at CM Camp office.
Reportedly, the Chief Minister is not happy with reports of bureaucrats taking bribes from the public for their works and directed the officials to especially focus on such bureaucrats.
It has been reported that just like Disha Act, a new bill will be introduced in the state Assembly which aims at taking action against the bureaucrats with ina certain period of time who were caught red-handedly while taking bribes.
As part of this, the complaints registered under 1902 number will be directed to 14400. In addition to that, authorities will keep an eye on MRO, MDO Sub-registrar, and other offices for bureaucrats who take bribes.
We will get more clarity once the Andhra Pradesh issues an official statement in this regard. Let's wait and see what the state government will do.
