Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu has asked all his Ministers to setup the camp offices in Vijayawada and ministers are hunting for residences and space to locate camp offices at Vijayawada . Now the government speed up the process of relocating their ministers.
AP government has decided to take some villas and flats from private builders in Vijayawada to house its ministers and senior officials including IAS and IPS officers.
In the first phase AP govt has decided to take 245 flats in the apartments and 26 villas for rent from Malaysia township. The Government has reportedly agreed to pay Rs 11 per sft. The government made agreements with the builders for a period of two years .It puts deadlines as November 1 to surrender all the houses
There will be a rental hike of 5 per cent per annum.Its known that government has already taken up renovation of the government guesthouses in and around Vijayawada and it has released Rs 2 crore to relocate some ministers.
