As a bid to encourage those who have worked hard for the YSRCP party, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced the fulfilment of the nominated posts on Saturday.
In total, the government has announced the fulfilment of 135 posts. This includes 68 women and 67 men.
Backward classes like SC, ST, BC, and minorities and women were given importance in the nominated posts as the lion share of posts were allotted to them.
Adapa Seshu was made the Kapu Corporation Chairman. He will replace the present chairman Jakkampudi Raja in the post.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's uncle YV Subba Reddy was made the TDD chairman again. Earlier, reports claimed that he will be given another post as he expressed his interest in direct politics. However, the government has decided to extend his tenure as Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman.
