The ongoing pandemic continues to ring the danger bells in Andhra Pradesh with the fresh infections increasing in the state at a rapid phase. For the last four days, Andhra Pradesh has been reporting over 7,000 fresh infections.
In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported as many as 7,948 fresh infections of the virus and the total cases of the contagious disease in the state zoomed to 1,10,297.
As per the health bulletin, a total of 62,979 samples were tested for the deadly virus and 7,948 infections were detected. So far 1148 people succumbed to the fatal disease, with 58 fresh casualties. So far 17,49,425 samples were tested.
On a brighter note, 3,064 patients managed to recover from the ongoing pandemic in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries of the virus to 52,622 and the active cases stood at 56,527.
East Godavari yet again reported the highest spike of cases with 1367 followed by Kurnool with 1146. East Godavari, Kurnool, Guntur and Krishna districts turned out as the hotspots for the virus.
