AP Reports 138 Fresh Infections, Toll Reaches 3427

The positive cases of the pandemic are increasing rapidly in Andhra Pradesh as 138 fresh cases were reported in the state in the past 24 hours. This takes the toll of the active cases to 3427.

The health bulletin issued by the State Health Department stated that 9,831 samples were tested in the past 24 hours and 50 samples were tested positive for the virus.

In addition to that 84 people who returned from other cases were infected with the virus and four foreign returnees were also tested positive for the dreaded virus.

In the past 24 hours 21 patients were recovered from the virus and with this the total count of the recovered cases in the state reached 2294. On the other hand, the active cases stood at 1060.

The toll of the fatalities increased to 73 with two more deaths reported in the past 24 hours in connection with the pandemic.

On the other hand, there are 700 cumulative positive cases in the state while the active cases stood at 422, while 123 foreign returnees were infected with the virus.
