In what it could be a shocker, 45 fresh cases of the dreaded disease were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the toll of the cases in the state to 2452. The recent health bulletin issued by the Health Department confirms the same.
The Health Bulletin states that in the past 24 hours 8,092 samples were tested for the disease and 45 out of the samples tested positive for the disease. On the other hand, one person succumbed to the virus and the total fatalities of the disease reached 54.
The good thing about the disease is that the count of the discharged patients is high than the active cases in the state which proves that the safety measures and precautions taken by the state government ar yielding a positive outcome.
On the other hand, the count of the total cases in India reached 1.12 lakh with 5,609 fresh cases reported in the country in the past 24 hours making India one of the worst-hit nations in the world.
