AP Reports 79 Fresh Cases And Four Fatalities

The positive cases of the pandemic are increasing rapidly in Andhra Pradesh as 79 fresh cases were reported in the past 24 hours which takes the toll of the positive cases in the state to 3279.

The State Health Department issued a health bulletin on the new addition of cases which states that four people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours which takes the total fatalities to 68.

Out of the four fresh fatalities Chittoor reported two fatalities while Krishna and Kurnool districts witnessed one each fatality.

On a brighter side, 35 more patients recovered from the dreaded virus in the past 24 hours, and the total toll of the recovered patients from the virus reached 2244. While the active cases reached 967.

Looking at the district-wise positive cases in the state Kurnool tops the list with more than 700 cases followed by Guntur, Krishna, and Nellore Districts. The authorities have declared many places in the districts as the hotspot of the virus.

A tense situation arose in some areas of AP as many cases were linked to the Koyambedu market set up in 65-acres area which is cited as the cluster of the dreaded cases.
