Andhra Pradesh is now reporting over 11,000 fresh Coronavirus infections steadily. With the state reporting more than 11,000 cases again, the active cases are nearing the 10-lakh mark.
As per the health bulletin, a total of 74,435 samples were tested in the past 24 hours to detect fresh infections in the state, as many as 11,434 new Coronavirus infections were reported.
The state's caseload has zoomed to 10,54,875. Including 7,055 new recoveries, a total of 9,47,629 patients have been declared cured and discharged from the hospitals accordingly. The active cases stood at 99,446.
On the other hand, 64 patients have succumbed to the deadly virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total toll of Covid-19 casualties to 7,800.
Guntur reported the highest cases in 24 hours with 2,028 cases followed by Chittoor(1,982), Srikakulam(1,322), Nellore(1,237), Visakhapatnam(1,067), Anantapur(702).
