An interesting incident involving a AP Farmer has caught the attention of media now.

Recently, A Framer from Prakasam reached Vijayawada for visiting AP Secretariat and got into Amaravati bus. He offered Rs 100 note to Conductor for ticket to Amaravati. In return, He received Rs 65 and ticket costing Rs 35.

Then, The Farmer asked why he charged Rs 9 more as Amaravati ticket costs just Rs 26 according to his knowledge. That's when Conductor enquired about his destination and got to know that he wishes to visit AP Secretariat. Soon, Conductor explained to the farmer that AP Secretariat is in Velagapudi not Amaravati. He then changed the ticket and handed over the balance to him.

Usually, Key Government structures like Secretariat and Assembly will exist in the core capital itself. AP Government, however, constructed Temporary Secretariat and Assembly in Velagapudi. It now set the target of completing permanent structures by March 2019. This situation led to the confusion among the people in rural areas.
