AP signs Rs 1,240 crore worth MoUs

AP Government signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with private firms for eight Tourism Projects with a total investment of Rs 1,240 crore. Principal Secretary (Tourism) Neerab Kumar signed the MoUs in the presence of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu the other day.

SL World, a Mumbai-based firm, alone will be investing Rs 800 crore to set up water world & amusement parks at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.

VSNL Estates Private Limited to buid 3-star and 5-star hotels in Vijayawada with an investment of Rs 300 crore.

Sai Priya Beach Resorts came forward to establish a beach resort at Rishikonda in Visakhapatnam with an investment of Rs 50 crore.

MoUs for setting up Star Hotels at Tirupati by Bliss Hotels with an investment of Rs 8 crore and A Restaurant at Kadapa by Poli Sunitha at the cost of Rs 5 crore have also been signed.
