The YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh government has launched the vaccination drive to administer vaccine doses to people above 18 on Monday.
Alloborative arrangements have been made by the government for the same. Beneficiaries can visit the nearby village secretariats and Primary Health Centres(PHC) to get the vaccine doses.
All the required arrangements were done and the vaccination centres, abiding by the guidelines issued by the Union Government in this regard.The Health Department has urged the beneficiaries to take the vaccine doses.
Looking at the vaccine numbers, Andhra Pradesh administered a total of over 13 lakh vaccines for the beneficiaries on Sunday. The count is appearantly a record in the country.
The West Godavari had clocked the highest vaccination count in the state with 1.64 lakh, followed by East Godavari (1.55 lakh), Krishna (1.4 lakh), Visakhapatnam (1.11 lakh), Guntur (1.05 lakh). Prakasam and Chittoor districts have recorded
1.02 lakh vaccinations each.
