Day after surpassing the 3 lakh-mark, Andhra Pradesh reported as many as 9,742 fresh pandemic infections in the last 24 hours taking the total cases to 313,108.
According to the information provided by the health bulletin, a total of 57,685 samples were tested in the last 24 houses and 9,742 infections were found. As of now, 30,19,296 samples were tested.
In the last 24 hours, 87 people succumbed to the dreaded virus. So far, 2906 people have lost their lives battling the dreaded virus in the state.
The recoveries that are increasing gradually reached 223477, including 8,061 fresh recoveries reported in the last 24 hours. The state currently has 86725 active cases.
East Godavari continues to be the worst-affected region in the state with the virus outbreak as the district added 1399 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, followed by Anantapur with 1123 cases.
