AAP supremo and serving Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who extended his support for the Bharat Bandh called by the farmers alleged that he was put under house arrest.
The allegations on Arvind Kejriwal created a sensation as to how the Chief Minister was kept under house arrest. The official Twitter handle of AAP claimed that Kejriwal was kept under house arrest.
"BJP's Delhi Police has put Hon'ble CM Shri @ArvindKejriwal under house arrest ever since he visited farmers at Singhu Border yesterday.No one has been permitted to leave or enter his residence," AAP's tweet read.
Cricketer-turned-politician and BJP leader Gautam Gambhir took a potshot at Delhi CM over his alleged house arrest.
In his tweet made in Hindi, Gautam Gambhir said, Farmers are an excuse to come to power in Punjab. Only Arvind Kejriwal can shout house arrest by locking himself in the house.
Gautam's tweet did not go well with the APP party. The official Twitter handle of the party hit back at the Cricketer-turned-politician.
Gautam went to the Maldives recently with his family for a vacation. The AAP party took a serious dig at his vacation and responded to Gambhir's tweet by replying Are you tweeting this from Maldives?"
