Sankranti Festival Season: APSRTC Says will operate 3,607 Special Buses
In a piece of good news for the public, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) announced that during the upcoming Sankranti season, it will run 3,607 buses.
These buses will be operated to the pearl city Hyderabad from the fellow Telugu state Telangana, Karnataka, and Chennai.
The authorities are gearing up to offer services for the travelers so that they won't face any sort of problems and difficulties while returning to their places after the festival season.
As part of the arrangements, special busses will be arranged during the return journey as a bid to see that the passengers will not face any inconvenience. RTC officials assure safe and secure travel.
The APSRTC said, out of the 3,607 buses, 433 busses will run from Bengaluru, followed by 133 buses from Chennai. While 201 buses will be run to Vijayawada and Vizag from different districts in Andhra Pradesh.
On the other hand, not less than 1,038 buses will be operated between the districts, the RTC officials said.
