Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited Hyderabad Central University on Thursday to extend support to the Dalit students who were protesting seeking justice to the family of Research Scholar Rohith Vemula.

Kejriwal began his speech with 'Rohith Amar Rahe..Jai Bheem' slogan. 'Its a shame that Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has described Ambedkar Students Association as Casteist, Extremist & Anti-National. Dalit Students were punished without even conducting a probe,' he said.

Chief Minister demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologise to the Nation and sack the Union Ministers-University VC Appa Rao who were facing charges of abetting Rohith to commit suicide. He alleged that Union Ministers ostracized and suspended five Dalit students even though the constitutional duty of Centre is to uplift Dalits.

The AAP Chief stated HRD Minister Smriti Irani spoke one lie after the other and tried to create controversy over Rohith's caste. He opined Union Government can't sustain for longer if youth and students revolt. He told that the entire Nation is with the students of HCU and asked them to continue the fight against injustice.
