Arch rivals Kakani, Anil Yadav bury differences, join hands in Nellore?
Two arch rivals in the same party, who were daggers drawn all these days, are now displaying unusual bonhomie. This newfound friendship is now the talk of the town in Nellore district. Newly-inducted minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy and just ousted minister Anil Kumar Yadav have now clearly put behind their differences and are one item these days.
Anil Kumar Yadav, who was just dropped from the council of ministers in the recent cabinet reshuffle, has always nursed a grievance against Kakani Govardhan Reddy for his non-cooperative attitude. While he was a minister, Kakani was always in the opposite camp. Now the tables have turned. While Kakani is a minister, Anil threatened to pay back the same coin.
He even held a massive show of strength on the day when Kakani returned the Nellore for the first time after becoming a minister. Finally, Jagan intervened and brought rapprochement between the two leaders. He asked them to work for the party's unity and strengthening. Since the meeting with Jagan, both the leaders appear to be chastised.
The other day, Kakani went to Anil Yadav's residence in the Iskcon Colony. Anil Yadav offered him a warm welcome and both were closeted for over half-hour discussing party work and the political scenario. This newfound bonhomie between the two leaders has left the YSRCP cadres pleasantly shocked. The fans and supporters of both the leaders are now happy at this new development. Anil and Kakani too have agreed to bury the old hatchet and work together for the party.
