The ruling party in Telangana TRS recently became BRS to focus on national politics. The party is expected to start party offices in other states too. Though the party is focusing on national politics it is not giving importance to the issues within the party as per the political experts.
The party's decision to give tickets only to the sitting MLAs for the next general elections took everyone by surprise including the MLAs. The aspirants will not get party tickets for the next polls as this is confirmed as none other than Chief Minister KCR said the same.
Not just the aspirants, but a few MLAs are reportedly not happy with the party as they are facing issues in their respective constituencies. They are being subjected to a lot of issues and problems in the constituencies forcing them to look at other options.
TPCC chief Recvanth Reddy who is working hard on bringing the lost glory to the party got to know about this and went in touch with the MLAs. If everything goes well then they might take the Congress route.
As per the media reports, as many as 12 MLAs from the Khammam, Warangal, Rangareddy, and Karimnagar regions are not happy with the TRS due to alleged issues and difficulties they are facing.
The reason behind the MLAs' going in touch with Revanth Reddy might be that BJP will welcome the MLAs only on the condition that they should win the by-election. They might have thought that they would not win the polls.
Experts are saying that KCR wants to become an alternative to the mighty BJP at the Centre and at this time if the MLAs join the Congress party then it will be a big blow to the party.
