Are the district collectors unhappy with the way the Telangana Government is handling the corona crisis? Are district collectors openly questioning the questionable decisions of those in power? Yes, say those who are aware of the goings on inside the state administration.

At a recent video-conferencing, one district collector is said to have fired at the Chief Minister himself. He reportedly asked the chief minister not to be double-tongued. He is said to have shot back at the CM when the latter asked them to be firm in handling those who were attacking the nurses, doctors and the police on duty. At this the IAS official reportedly said that the ruling party leaders were openly supporting the attackers and hooligans and were asking the officials to go easy on them. How can this double-tongued approach work,he reportedly asked.

Chief Minister reportedly realised that many IAS officials shared the same feeling and cleverly shifted from general video conferencing to one-on-one meets through video. The officer in question meanwhile is said to be getting ready for a transfer once the Corona virus subsides.
