AP Special Assistance only after Audit of Accounts

YSR Congress MP Vijay Sai Reddy sought clarification regarding Special Assistance offered to Andhra Pradesh during Question Hour in Rajya Sabha. In response, Minister of State for Home Arjun Meghawal said: 'AP Government need to submit audit of funds sanctioned by Centre under various schemes so far. Centre will consider sanctioning Special Assistance only after it is satisfied with the audit of AP Government'.

Rural Development Minister Ramkrupal Yadav informed Rs 3,285.15 crore has been offered to Andhra Pradesh in this financial year under Employment Assurance Scheme.
