Why Army Recruits were stripped to write Exam?

Update: 2016-03-01 08:24 GMT
In a first of its kind treatment, Army Recruits were asked to appear for their examination in their undergarments at Muzaffarpur in Bihar. The reason behind this move looks a bit unconvincing!

Much to the shock of Candidates who applied for clerk posts in Army, Officials have ordered them to strip their clothes including shirts, trousers and vests before appearing for the examination. This was done to make sure none of the candidates cheat in exam.

Upon taking a notice of these disturbing pictures, Patna High Court filed a duo moto Public Interest Litigation (PIL). The case will come up for hearing Today.

Didn't Army Official find any other alternative other than making the candidates strip to avoid cheating? Very Strange!
