Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got a new admirer in Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Actor-turned-politician and former California governor on Thursday hailed prime minister Modi for his administrative abilities and said he always admired Modi as a leader.
Arnold praised Modi for bringing solar revolution during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister. Arnold said that he has been watching Modi's administrative abilities as a leader ever since he was Gujarat's chief minister.
Speaking at 15th Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS), the Terminator actor said that he was bowled with Modis revolutionary ideas and particularly he praised Modi for his works as Gujarat CM to cover canals with solar panels.The actor said he was inspired by the idea of covering canals with solar panels and implemented the same in his state California.
He said "Gujarat is California of India" and Modi had certainly created "good action". He expressed hope that India, under Modi's leadership, would play a key role in the UN climate negotiations in Paris in December this year
