Update: 2015-12-21 06:15 GMT
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is contemplating on filing a defamation suit against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other Aam Admi Party leaders who alleged that he was is sole person responsible for corruption in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Apparently, Arun Jaitley served as President of DDCA till 2013.

On the other hand, BJP Leader Kirti Azad held a press conference on DDCA corruption even after party chief Amit Shah directed him to call off any such plans. He said his fight is against corruption but not against one person. He informed that DDCA offered contracts to several firms with false addresses during Jaitley's tenure. He adds, 'Items such as Laptop were procured paying a rent of Rs 16,000 per day. Rs 5,000 per day for Puja Ka Thali and Rs 3,000 per day for Printer was spent'.

Reacting to the defamation suit, Kirti Azad dared the Finance Minister to sue him: 'hello dear @arunjaitley hampar defemation file kar rahe ho na?'.

Delhi Government has ordered for an inquiry into the corruption allegations against DDCA. Soon, A police complaint might be filed against Arun Jaitley.

In response, Arun Jaitley recalls UPA Government ordering for probe into DDCA and failing to find any evidence against him. DDCA, however, admits irregularities but blames its ex-president Sneh Bansal instead of Arun Jaitley for it.
