Arunachal CM Thanks Jagan For Helping Youth Stuck In Paderu

While Telangana government has floundered on handling the persons from other states living in Telangana during the Corona lockdown and has earned lot of criticism, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh has won praises for providing succour to the students from other states living in Andhra Padesh.

Several students from Arunachal Pradesh live in Visakhapatnam and they were in a quandary once the lockdown was imposed. Arunachan CM Pema Khandu immediately called up his counterpart in AP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and sought his help. Soon, Jagan directed DGP Gowtham Sawang to provide all help to the Arunachali boys and girls. Taking to Twitter, Pema Khandu thanked both YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and DGP Swang for their prompt response. He tweeted thus: I would like to thank @AndhraPradeshCM and DGP Andhra Pradesh Shri Gautam Sawang in their prompt response in attending to a distress call made by Arunachalee citizens stranded in Vizag. I look forward to more such cooperation during these times of crisis to fight #COVID19

He also thanked Paderu sub-collector for the help. He tweeted:I would like to thank sub collector Paderu, Visakhapatnam Sri Venkatswar Salijamala, IAS for helping out 16 Arunachalees stuck in his district. Such humanitarian actios strengthen our resolve to fight this war against #COVID 19
