Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet ministers have set a good example by agreeing to come under the ambit of odd-even scheme of plying of vehicles in New Delhi.
Odd-Even Scheme introduced by Delhi Government will restrict plying of vehicles on alternate days starting from January 1st, 2016.
However, Delhi Government left the decision of inclusion of Union Ministers in the odd-even scheme to the Centre. Arvind Kejriwal will be sending the final draft of odd-even scheme to the Union Government soon. The decision whether to include Union Ministers or not would be taken based on the response of the centre.
On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal is mulling on the proposal to exempt women driving alone & in the company of other women from the restrictions of Odd-Even Scheme.
