Asaduddiin Owaisi asks when will Metro service starts in Old City

Update: 2020-02-06 10:06 GMT
The Hyderabad Metro is all set to inaugurate the new service in Corridor II which will be started by Telangana CM KCR on February 7.

Hyderabad Metro took to Twitter to share the happy news. "Hon’ble CM Mr. K.Chandrasekhar Rao will inaugurate Metro Corridor2(JBS -MGBS) on the 7th of this month at 4pm. With this 11km corridor, total operational length will be 69km(C1 29km +C3 29 +C2 11km)," read Metro’s Tweet.

This news did not go well with Hyderabad MP, AIMIM supremo Asadudduin Owaisi, as he questioned when will the metro rail service between on MGBS to Falaknuma be started.

The MP replied to the Tweet made by the Hyderabad metro. "Amazing that you have funds for JBS & MGBS,when will @hmrgov start and complete MGBS to FALAKNUMA ?," read the reply of the MP.

Owaisi also found fault with the KCR government not focusing on the South part of the Hyderabad in terms of development.

"What about the Dar Ul Shifa to FALAKNUMA Metro line you have funds to lay & start JBS Metro station but when it comes to South of Hyderabad you have no answer," his reply read to another Tweet by Hyderabad Metro.
