AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a protest meeting at Nizamabad on Friday night as a part of his ongoing campaign against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act, NCR and NPR.
The protest meeting was conducted at the New Idgah ground on Friday night by United Muslims Joint Action Committee, in which the MIM, CPI, CPM, BSP and various peoples organisations and student unions took part. A large number of Muslims from Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts and Nanded district of Maharashtra took part in the meeting.
In the protest meeting, AIMIM President said that he would fight for Indian Nationalism as the BJP-led NDA government was trying to destroy the spirit of Indian Constitution.
AIMIM President Owaisi criticised the BJP-RSS for spreading false propaganda. He said that protests would continue till the NDA government withdrew the controversial bills.
AIMIM Party Chief Owaisi said that CM KCR promised to keep Telangana secular. He claimed that Modi had no right to ask for his citizenship. He made it clear that he was not against the Hindus.
