MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi described the Bollywood flick 'Padmaavat' as bakwas. He even appealed Muslims to ignore the period film based on Rajput queen Padmavati and Mughal emperor Alauddin Khilji.

As part of 'Save Sharia' campaign, Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a public meeting in Warangal on Wednesday. 'Padmaavat is bakwas. It's Manhoos (curse ridden) and Ghaleez (bad). Don't waste your time and money by watching it. God hasn't created you to watch it but lead a good life,' he gave a call, apart from stressing that the story of the film was penned by a Muslim Writer.

Actually, 'Padmaavat' is the fictional story witten by Poet Malik Mohammad Jayasi in 1540. Owaisi alleged PM Modi has constituted a 12-member panel to review 'Padmaavat' but he didn't bother to consult Muslim Leaders when it comes to Triple Talaq. 'While Rajputs shown unity while opposing Padmaavat, Muslims are divided and don't fight back when Islamic Laws are being changed,' he commented.

The Hyderabad MP criticized Congress for it double standards in visiting VHP Leader Pravin Togadia who is known for his anti-Muslim Statements.
