Pakistan makes it to the record books after it built an 140-feet bullet-proof cross in Karachi. This is now officially Asia's Largest Cross!
Pakistan businessman Parvez Henry Gill is building the cross at the Gora Qabristan Cemetery. He claims to have seen the almighty in his dream four years ago and he was asked to do something for the Christian community. It was then he decided to built the largest cross in Pakistan which is a country with 90 percent Muslim population. Parvez Henry Gill promotes the cross as symbol of god and everyone who sees it will have nor problems at all.
Reportedly, As many as 20 Muslims quit construction work when they came to know about the nature of the structure. The only Muslim Worker, Mohammad Ali, who worked for the mission says the cross is a work of God. He is working 7-days a week and 14 hours a day.
