Woman MLA attacked during Anti-Drug Drive

Aam Admi Party legislator from Chandni Chowk Alka Lamba was on Sunday attacked by an unidentified man in New Delhi's Kashmere Gate area during the anti-drug  drive.

When she began addressing the locals at around 6 AM, A Man hurled stones at Alka Lamba resulting in a head injury. She was rushed to Aruna Asaf Ali hospital immediately and Doctors have discharged her after treatment.

While a section of AAP Leaders allege that a Drug Cartel Operating in the area is behind the attack, Others suspect the involvement of a BJP Leader citing the attacker was earlier spotted standing at the sweet shop owned by BJP MLA OP Sharma.

Despite the attack, Alka Lamba declares she isn't going to back down but comeback strongly. She announced that anti-drug drive will continue till August 15th and hopeful of achieving the goal.
