Aurobindo demands CBI to name YSR as Accused

Update: 2014-10-29 04:37 GMT
It is known that CBI has included Aurobindo Pharma as one of the accused in YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case for alleged quid pro quo deals during former Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's tenure.

Aurobindo Pharma seeked an explanation from CBI over how the investigation agency could it include charge sheet without adding the name of YSR as accused. The counsel of Aurobindo pointed out that the company has secured land in Jadcherla SEZ at a cost of Rs 7 lakhs per acre even though the market rate is just around Rs 1.5 lakhs per acre. He also raised the issue of CBI not naming YSR as accused despite saying the former CM was behind the quid-pro-quo deals.

The next hearing of the case has been posted to November 5th. Naming YSR as accused would surely irk YSR Congress party and YS Jagan.
