Ayodhya Trust Gives Estimated Time Of Temple Construction!

Update: 2022-09-12 06:16 GMT
The centuries-old dispute in Ayodhya over the disputed land ended up in favour of Hindus as the Supreme Court said Hindus can build a temple there. A special trust was constituted by the Supreme Court to take care of the construction of Ram Mandir at the site.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been taking care of temple construction. The construction started with a traditional ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed puja at the construction site. The construction is going on at a rapid pace. The trust members spoke to the media about the construction.

Giving details on when the temple would be finished, Champat Rai, general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra said that the temple might be finished by December 2023 and Ram Lalla would be placed by Sankranthi. Having said that, the Trust Secretary said this is the new estimation given the big scale of the temple construction. Mr. Rai said the estimation might go further as well.

The Trust member spoke to the media after the key meeting among the trust members and around 14 members were present during the meeting. The meeting was held on Sunday evening and post the meeting, Champat Rai spoke to the media.

It is said that the construction cost of Ayodhya Ram Mandir is around Rs 1800 crores. Probably for the first time, people made donations in big numbers for the construction of the temple. People across the nation made contributions as much as they could. With a minimum of Rs 100, people donated in thousands and lakhs as well.

From money to gold to other things, devotees donated everything they could. The temple trust is given the responsibility of overseeing the temple construction. White marble is being used for the temple construction and idols of various deities are expected to come at the temple premises.

Since the temple construction was started it has been widely reported that the temple might work for the BJP as the Hindus and pro-Right Wing people are expected to vote for the saffron party. We might see this happen as the temple construction is likely to be finished months before the much-awaited Lok Sabha polls in 2024.
