Former Cabinet Minister and YCP MLA Anil Kumar Yadav faced the heat of the Bharatiya Janata Party after he was spotted wearing a skull cap while on Ayyappa Deksha. Alleging that he has hurt the sentiments of Hindus and Ayyappa devotees, the BJP leaders targetted him.
Now Anil Kumar Yadav hit back at the criticism and asked doesn't the BJP leaders know that Ayyappa devotees visit the Vavar Swami first before offering prayers to Ayyappa Swamy. He also mentioned that Vavar Swamy is a Muslim person.
He even said that Hindus visit the dargahs in big numbers and the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders are trying to create an unwanted divide between Hindus and Muslims. Anil Kumar Yadav also wondered how senior leaders like Somu Veerraju can also make such comments.
Adding further Anil Kumar Yadav asked the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders whether it was written in any Shashtra that the Namaj cap cannot be worn while wearing Ayyappa Deeksha. He called Ayyappa Deeksha a big example of Hindu-Muslim friendship.
Many don't know that devotees who go to Sabarimala first offer their prayers to Vavar Swamy. He is worshipped by people from both religions. Vavar Swamy is dubbed a Muslim acquaintance of Ayappa Swamy. Vavaraswami's mosque is located opposite the Ayyappan temple.
Now we have to see how the Bharatiya Janata Party will react to this. They cannot counter the fact that Ayappa devotees visit the Vavar Swamy first.
