Mr.Reddy told he has been in race for Balapur laddu since the past two years. He claims to be on cloud nine after emerging as a winner this year.
The practice of auctioning Balapur Laddu is continuing since 1980. Last year, Balapur Laddu was auctioned for Rs 10.32 lakh. There is a rise of Rs 4.33 lakh in just one year. Ganesh Utsav Committee will use the auction amount for rural development and social welfare activities.
