The political heat in Telangana increased at once after one Bairi Naresh who is the head of 'Bharata Nasthika Samajam' reportedly passed objectionable comments at Lord Ayyappa. The visuals of him making comments at God raised many eyeballs and drew severe criticism from various corners.
The right-wing bodies like VHP and RSS breathed fire on him. The Bharatiya Janata Party also joined the row and breathed fire on him. The saffron party asked how he can make such comments and why no action was taken against him.
Firebrand leader Bandi Sanjay who is serving as the Chief of the party of Telangana reacted to the issue and linked the recent issue to Munawar Faruqui. Linking both issues, Bandi said that anyone can abuse Hindu gods and get away in Telangana as the CMO is encouraging blasphemy without taking any action.
Alleging that the Telangana government provided security to Munawar who insults goddess Seethamma Bandi Sanjay said the BRS government gave permission to hold a meeting to pass derogatory remarks on Lord Ayyappa.
"Anybody can abuse Hindu Gods in #Telangana & get exonerated bcos @TelanganaCMO encourages blasphemy without taking any action!KCR claims to be "True Hindu" & his "Hinduvta is real" BUT so far what action is taken on insults against Gods Vishnu, Shiva & Ayyappa done in Kodangal ?," Bandi Sanjay said on Twitter.
The incident caused a big uproar in Telangana and a few Ayyappa devotees reportedly trashed him. The cops reached the spot and saved him from further attack allegedly.
Based on a bunch of complaints received the cops booked a case under 153A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). It is said that the person made objectionable comments on the birth of Lord Ayyappa.
