Sourav Ganguly, president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, will undergo a stenting procedure today. As per reports, the procedure is likely to happen during the second half of the day at the Woodlands hospital in Kolkata.
"The procedure will be done by Dr Aftab Khan in the presence of renowned cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty, with Dr Saptarshi Basu and Dr Saroj Mondal attending," Woodlands Hospital said.
The former India captain was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Wednesday after he complained of chest pain he was kept under observation.
Apollo hospital had earlier said that there is no change in Ganguly's parameters since his last hospitalisation and his vital parameters are stable. Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly's fans and well-wishers across the world are wishing for his speedy recovery.
