Education is a key element in one's life. We get to know new things while studying. Compared to others, studying in Universities and Institutions is a whole new experience. While university students are politically active, those who go to prestigious Institutions become innovative and set up start-ups.
Though there are many Universities and Institutes in the nation, only a few of them are at the top position. The top establishments were ranked by the Union government just a while ago. However, the rankings of various colleges, Universities, and Institutes remain identical to the previous colleges.
It is no wonder that IIT-Madras was ranked the top educational institute in the nation followed by IIT Delhi.IIT Hyderabad was ranked ninth on the list. IIT-Madras was ranked the top institute last year too. This year, IIT-Madras retained the same position and also got the second spot in the newly introduced category of research.
Talking about the university category, the Jawaharlal Nehru University bagged the second position in the category of University. JNU is one of the politically active Universities in the nation and it is known for its strong leftist ideology.
JNU took an active part in protests opposing the ideas proposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party like NRC, CAA, and farm bills. Despite all this, JNU was ranked the second best university in the country.
The Right-wing hates the JNU to a level that, in The Kashmir Files, the JNU was shown as a centre of anti-national activities. However, JNU was named as ANU in the film which was shown as having string collections in key fields.
In the Medical institutes category, AIIMS Delhi bagged first place, followed by PGIMER, CMC Vellore, NIMHANS, Bangalore, and Banaras Hindu University.
In the Law Category, five colleges were ranked the best. National Law School of India University, National Law University, Symbiosis Law School, Nalsar University of Law, and The West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences are in the top five places in the same order.
Business schools have a big role to play in the country as the schools train some of the fine minds in the country. IIMs and Business schools became synonyms and we cannot imagine the best B-school rankings without the Indian Institute of management. The below institutions are at the top in the B-school category.
IIM Ahmedabad
IIM Bangalore
IIM Calcutta
IIT Delhi
IIM Kozhikode
