The situation has come to such a pass that both Bhupal Reddy and Gutta Amit Reddy have organised separate programmes on KCRâs birthday. This has put the party cadres in a quandary. They did not know which programme to attend. ZP chief Banda Narender Reddy attended both the programmes.
This groupism is having a telling effect on the party in Nalgonda. The Nalgonda assembly constituency has always been a Congress citadel. In 2018, the TRS managed to defeat the Congress.
The party workers are confused and it is believed that a minister from the district is playing a key role in weakening Gutta Sukhender Reddy. It remains to be seen how the party leadership addresses this issue.
