Critics have given thumbs down to Akshay Kumar starrer Once Upon A Time in Mumbabi Dobara and sent the message that its not even a one-time watch film. This negativity has miffed the actor who shot back at them saying critics have no basic knowledge about filmmaking and hence they aren't able to understand the pulse of the audience.

Stating that what matters is audience response, Akshay said he would only respect those critics who keep the audience in mind while expressing their opinions on any film.

In response, Critics have been suggesting Akshay if he had promoted his film like Shahrukh has done for Chennai Express, he could have seen better results.

Once Upon A Time in Mumbabi Dobara which was made with a budget of Rs 70 crore has collected around Rs 55 crore by the end of first week in India. The film failed to withstand the wave of Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express at the Box Office.
